mnml 0.3.4

Release notes for mnml 0.3.4, whose Marketplace index names Jira and Bitbucket 0.2.3.

mnml 0.3.4 is a follow-up release to 0.3.3, and its only change is that its Marketplace index names Jira and Bitbucket 0.2.3. An installed mnml offers the integrations its own release was cut with, and 0.3.3 was cut before 0.2.3 of either existed. With 0.3.4, the Jira and Bitbucket work described under 0.3.3 reaches a Marketplace install. Nothing else changes.

This release is 1 contributor over 18 commits since 0.3.3.

What it unlocks

Jira and Bitbucket 0.2.3 carry the integration side of what 0.3.3 describes:

  • The recent-items cache. Both integrations write it as a side effect of their polls, so a ticket key or pull request hovers with its title and Recent tickets and pull requests has something to list. See What a link names.
  • Pull-request and pipeline number ranges. Bitbucket publishes the ranges a bare PR #5505 or pipeline 10554 resolves against. See Pull-request references.
  • Atlassian chip icons, such as the Jira Work chip's work-items card with a check. Run ./run.sh install-font to pick up the glyph.
  • The confirm-box click fix. A click on OK or Cancel in Jira's and Bitbucket's merge confirms lands on the chip, not the box behind it.
  • Measured tables. A wide pane gives its spare width to the columns being cut instead of leaving it blank.

Upgrading

Homebrew, winget and the installers move you to 0.3.4 on your next upgrade:

brew upgrade mnml
winget upgrade ChrisMcLennan.mnml

Or run the installer for your platform again, from Install. winget is Microsoft's community repository and merges each version on its own schedule, so 0.3.4 can reach it some time after the other channels.

Then open the Marketplace tab under INTEGRATIONS: an installed Jira or Bitbucket 0.2.2 reads update available. See Marketplace.
